Getting ready for another field season

posted Nov 24, 2011, 10:14 AM by Ted Bibby
It's Thanksgiving day and I'm anxiously awaiting my flight to Christchurch NZ. For a third holiday season I'm heading to Antarctica for Christmas and New Years. Our geomorphology field team is headed down for our final field season to Ong Valley and Moraine Canyon. The team this year is composed of Jaakko Putkonen, Dan Morgan, Collin Giusti, Erin Hoeft and myself. We return some time in February 2012. As suggested and/or requested from Dan, I've made a new video highlighting some of the funny aspects of field work in cold isolated areas. Enjoy! Also, check out our new website for the Geomorphology group and the University of North Dakota.
